- “Business Owner” refers to spa, salon, or barbershop operators using our system.
- “Client” refers to customers booking services through the platform.
- “We/Us/Our” refers to Book My Glow.
2. Use of the Platform
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Book My Glow.
- You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information when registering.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
- Misuse of the platform (fraud, hacking, spamming, or abuse) will lead to account suspension or termination.
3. Services Provided
Book My Glow provides tools for:
- Online appointment scheduling
- Client management
- Staff and branch management
- Online payments and invoicing
- E-commerce for beauty and grooming products
We act as a technology provider and not as the direct service provider of beauty services.
4. Payments & Billing
- Businesses pay subscription fees according to their selected plan (Starter, Standard, Premium).
- Subscription fees are non-refundable, except where required by law.
- Clients may pay for services via Mobile Money, Visa, MasterCard, or cash, as enabled by the business owner.
- Book My Glow is not responsible for pricing set by businesses or disputes between clients and business owners.
5. Appointments, Cancellations & Refunds
- Clients can book, reschedule, or cancel appointments via the platform, subject to each business’s policies.
- Refunds for missed or cancelled services are handled directly between the business owner and the client.
- Book My Glow does not guarantee service quality, timeliness, or outcomes of beauty services booked.
6. Responsibilities of Business Owners
- Maintain accurate information on services, pricing, and availability.
- Ensure staff conduct and service quality.
- Comply with local business, health, and safety regulations.
- Protect client data in line with our Privacy Policy.
7. Responsibilities of Clients
- Provide accurate booking details.
- Respect appointment times and cancellation policies.
- Use the platform lawfully and responsibly.
8. Data & Privacy
Your use of Book My Glow is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Book My Glow is not liable for service delivery, staff conduct, or disputes between clients and businesses.
- We are not responsible for any losses, damages, or delays arising from use of the platform.
- The platform is provided on an “as is” basis without guarantees of uninterrupted availability.
10. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms & Conditions
- Engage in fraudulent or unlawful activities
- Fail to pay subscription fees
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Uganda. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Ugandan courts.
